Amon Amarth

WE WALKED THE RIVERS OF THE EASTERN TRAIL! DEEP IN THE LAND OF THE RUSE!!!!! How the fuck do you walk a river? Well, anyway Amon Amarth is a melodic death metal band hailing from Sweden. I love this band because scenes can't like them. They just don't understand. FVKKEN EMOS!!!! Amon Amarth's topics consist of Viking/Paganistic beliefs, Warfare, Redemption, Justice, Freedom, Damnation, Righteousness, and Fighting For What's Right. So if you want to get into some epic melodic death metal, you should get into Amon Amarth. A good album would be The Avenger.

Suffocation

These guys are the grandfathers of brutal death metal. I don't get how people get pissed because there are two black guys in the band. FUCK RANDOM PEOPLE!!! Mike Smith was actually the one who made blastbeats popular. So yeah... if you want to get into some brutal death metal, Suffocation would be a great band for you. A good album would be Piecred From Within.

Cryptopsy

WORSHIP YOUR DEMONS!!! Ha... Nobody even knows what the real definition of a demon is. It's actually a flaw or a problem with somebody. Anyway, Cryptopsy is a technical death metal/deathcore band that people judge too quickly. They're song topics consist of love, redemption, peace, and living life to the fullest. Too bad they lost Lord Worm. That dude was ancient but he was still kickass. Anyway Cryptopsy is a good band if you want to get into some technical death metal. A good album would be Once Was Not.\m/

Dying Fetus

Don't judge this band by it's name. This band is actually very intelligent and political. Their musical ideas are exteremly wonderful. Oh, and did I mention...THEY ARE NOT MALLCORE!!! The technical death metal band is known to be flung around with stereotypical topics. They're just 4 normal dudes trying to make the best music they can with their symbolization and representation. If you want to get into this band, a good album to start with would be Stop At Nothing.

Job For A Cowboy

Job For A Cowboy is a death metal band from Arizona. It's wierd to classify them in a certain sub-genre of death metal. Well, they did used to be deathcore/deathgrind. Then Johny Davy changed the sound. WHY DID HE DO THAT!!!! Maybe it's the fact that he's high and drunk 24/7. His eyes are really always closed. WTF!!! Well, anyway...if you want to check out J4AC, then check out the Doom EP. I loved it. You could also watch the video for Embedded... That is if you like to see wolves vommiting blood XD

Winds Of Plague

Otherwise known as Winds Of Fvkken BREEE BREEE!!!!, Winds Of Plague are a symphonic deathcore band from California. But don't mind Johny Plague. If you meet him one day and he just says,'FUCK YOU, GET THE FUCK OUT!" just remember his face won't be the last thing you see. You see, he's not very intimidating with his rap appearal. Anyway, if you wanna listen to a brutal symphonic breakdown, Winds Of Plague are perfect for you. A good album is A Cold Day In Hell.

Whitechapel

(this world is ours and we...) This world is ours and we... THIS WORLD OURS AND WE WON'T STAND STILL!!! WTHIUV HYISHFYSHU THSHIUSH THGHTYGH HSHUUSHFISH... Well that's what it sounds like. Anyway, Whitechapel is a deathcore band from Tennessee. Half the time you have no fucking idea what Phil Bozeman is saying, but they're still brutal. But what really sketches me is the fact that they have 3 guitarists and their genre is DEATHCORE. O_O... Anyway if you wanna hear a brutal breakdown that's totally bodybangable, Whitechapel's the band for you. A good album would be The Somatic Defilement.

Arch Enemy

Ah, yes. One for all. All for one. We are strong. We are one NEMESIS!!! How the fuck is Arch Enemy mallcore in anyway. They're too cool to be. Anyway this is a melodic death metal band from Sweden. Everytime you listen to them they have any epic feel that you can't help but stick your fist in the air to. Arch Enemy's topic's consist of freedom, redemption, facing your fears, starting over, and doing things in life that we know we have to go through everyday but instead they make it worthwild. Yes, Arch Enemy is a death metal band even elders can love. A good album would be Anthems Of Rebellion or Rise Of the Tyrant.

The Black Dahlia Murder

No, they don't wanna work. They just wanna fuck, swallow pills, and forget their curses. Yes The Black Dahlia Murder is an awesome Blackened Death Metal band hailing from Michigan. Alot of people classifiy them as metalcore/deathcore...WTF!!!! They are in no way core whatsoever. They have no clean singing and they never use breakdowns. SO STFU!!!! Anyway, The Black Dahlia Murder is the kind of band you can chill with if you wanna get in trouble at the mall or something. They just love having fun. They are very melodic also. If you wanna get into them, I suggest that you get their first album, Unhallowed.

Possessed

Yes, the fist ever death metal band EVER! Possessed is a good band to listen to if you want to get really underground with it. There's not really alot of important information about them, but this was the very first band that growled. Check these guys out. A good album would be Seven Churches.

Behemoth

FVKKEN METAL! When you think of brutal death metal you should think of Behemoth. NO! you should just think of Nergal, himself. Behemoth is a brutal death metal band from Poland. But don't think that this band is nothing but noise. These guys are actually pretty melodic. It kinda sucks though, that they're banned from playing in they're home country. ):<. This makes me pissed. Let's start an insurrection! Oh, sorry got a little off topic. Anyway if you want to check out a band that will never in all the time exitance exists will become mallcore, then check out behemoth. A good album is Demigod or The Apostasy.

Cannibal Corpse

HAMMER SMASHED FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, Cannibal Corpse is a brutal death metal band from Buffalo, New York. They're song topics about blood, gore, death, decapitation, torcher, cannibalism, evicseration, and necrophylia are just too cool to not be called brutal. Corpsegrinder is a charecter I'd say. Don't you agree. This was one of the first bands that actually got me into death metal. So if you want to start listening to death metal, this would be a great band to start out with. A good album would be The Wretched Spawn.

Cattle Decapitation

Brutal! Cattle Decapitation is a melodic grindcore band from San Diego formed in 1996. But after listening to this band you might want to put that Big Mac down. Yeah, these guys might be vegans but they get so defensive about it that they say if you eat meat theyre gonna basically kill you :). But this band would be bipolar in my opinion. One minute they have mathcore riffs and the next they sound wikkid epic. A good album to start with would be Karma Bloody Karma.

Lamb Of God

Yes fvkken yes! Lamb Of God, the band in which the lead singer, Randy Blythe is always changing his look. I mean he at one point had emo hair and gages and hes like, 'FUCK YOU IM NOT EMO CUNT SAY IT AGAIN AND I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU BITCH!" lol but thats besides the point. Lamb Of God is an amazing Groove metal band with death metal influnces. When they first made the band their name was "Burn The Priest" but fucking catholic bitches are pussies and decide they want to sue any bands that have to do with "anti - christianity" lol. So they decided to give the band the name "Lamb Of God" just because its ironic XD. the first album, "Burn The Priest" is amazing. But mid Lamb Of God is also good like "As the Palaces Burn" and "Ashes Of the Wake". Check them out.

In Flames

Yes, it is the band from Sweden that changed their genre from melodic death metal to alternative rock. In Flames is an amazing band with lyrically and musically talented ideas. I don't know what is better. The roaring growls from Anders Friden, the machine gun drumming of Daniel Svensson, or the powerful picking of Bjorn Gelotte. Their extremely melodic riffs are exquisite. They are musical geniuses and thats more than anyone can say about fucking Soulja Boy. My favorite album would probably be "Whoracle". :)

Children Of Bodom

Hailing from Espoo, Finland, with Janne Wirman on keyboard, Henkka "Blacksmith" Seppälä on bass, Jaska Raatikainen on drums, Roope Latvala on rythym, and Alexi "WildChild" Laiho on lead, Children Of Bodom is one of the best melodic black metal bands ever. Since their debut single "Deadnight Warrior", they have released 6 consecutive studio albums, consisting of "Something Wild (1997)", "Hatebreeder (1999)", "Follow the Reaper (2000)", Hate Crew Deathroll (2003)", "Are you Dead Yet? (2005)", and their latest album, "Blooddrunk (2008)". They have released 13 singles consisting of "Deadnight Warrior", "Downfall", "Everytime I Die", "Hate me!", "Sixpovnder", "Needled 24/7", "In Your Face", "Are you Dead Yet?", "Thrashed, Lost, and Strungout", "Living Dead Beat", "Blooddrunk", "Hellhounds On my Trail", and "Smile Pretty For the Devil". They have also released 2 live albums titled, "Tokyo Warhearts (1999)" and "Chaos Ridden Years (2005)" and one best of album titled "Bestbreeder". Children Of Bodom are talented musicians in everyway. But personally I enjoy their older shit better (Something Wild - Follow the Reaper). I just think that it is more melodic. So if you enjoy Bach and Eddie Van Halen, you will definitely enjoy Children Of Bodom. : )
